How fast can i get Italian student visa from India?

i applied for student visa.. the process timing was like 15 working days but i havn't got any response from embassy. vfs isn't such help. should i call directly do italian embassy in new delhi ? its like 18th day of my case . i don't wanna wait anymore

Do you have proof of acceptance at a university in Italy? Do you have proof that you & your parents have sufficient funds for all your school & living expenses, plus return transportation to your country of citizenship? Did you submit copies of all of your documentation with your visa application? This is prime season for processing student visas for fall semester, so they are pretty well backlogged at the moment - they all are everywhere! If you failed to include all required documentation, etc, failed to complete form completely & legibly, etc, you will slow down the process.



Countries typically allow foreign students to enter the country no more than 30 days before class registration or class start dates. So they have time to get this to you if you are approved for the visa.
