They land in Yorkshire in a huge silver disk and unload tens of thousand of little et's waddling around and are hungry and need shelter after their long voyage, can we turn them down? What might be some drawbacks. Advantages for the native born? I don't know but i oppose taking them in, regardless. Does that make me a bad man?

We don't turn anybody away now do we ?

Obviously they'd get priority status on the housing lists, free healthcare and a special advisor to tell them what benefits they could claim. Social services support, childcare and free training,

Oh yes, also a mobile phone so they could call home !

That doesn't make you bad, that makes you smart. Why should you drop everything and become a humanitarian...kind of, they're legit aliens. I personally don't have the money to have my taxes triple cause we need to protect, house, train individuals asking for a free handout. I would ask neighboring countries to take in a % of them.

If they can introduce positive technology to help cure and clean the enviroment then this could be the best thing to happen to our society.
