student nurse for 1 year and 4 years in tier 2 general skilled worker(in total it would be 5 years of continues stay in UK but 1 year as a student nurse ). please help me!

yup all the folks above have said it right!! you need to wait another year on tier 2.
I know labout govt is gone but its worth checking the "probationary citizenship" concept that was talked about a while ago. It was suppose to go live in 2011 but I have no idea whats the status, as if it goes live then you cant apply for ILr after 5 but you can apply for prob citizenship after 5 years.

Any time spent in the UK on a student visa doesn't count towards ILR as its a temporary visa only designed to allow you to study here, not live here.
You'd need to be here another year on your tier 2 visa to apply for ILR.

A stay as student does not count towards ILR requirements, just wait another year and hope that the new U.K. government does not change the prerequisites in the meantime..
