Ive been told that supposedly a police officer could ask you for your social security if your Hispanic like if they stop to you. Because Me and my friends are going to Miami for the summer and i don't think some of them are citizens and that rumor might scare them from traveling from NC to Miami. I really want them to go. I am a citizen. So do police officers have a right or someone with more power can like ICE?

I'm not sure

It depends on the law of the state

As long as you don't do anything suspicious, you should be fine tbh

sure. it may well be no extra effective attempt for interior of sight and state police to help the federal government find and reporting unlawful immigrants. do exactly what they are doing now, and while the discover an unlawful of their enforcement of site visitors rules, carry them for I.C.E. to return and get and deport. they do no longer could pass out and seek for them, basically nab 'em while they are pulled over for a site visitors violation and don't have a valid motive force's license or documentation of a legal resident. If their papers are not so as or are suspicious, basically carry onto them until they could be appeared at with immigration. The attrition of illegals if this have been executed might pass an prolonged uncomplicated approaches to looking them and deporting them. God is conscious how many illegals are pulled over for basically the effect of alcohol using and not something is ever executed approximately their immigration status, basically the DUI. around 'em up ... head 'em out!

Anyone can. Everyone should too.

Keep in mind that if you transport the illegal aliens you are committing a felony, and your possession are subject to seizure.

Sound bad? Florida is spendind a huge amount of money on narcotics control and almost all of it is brought in and distributed by illegal aliens that are Hispanic.

Don't transport them.

If apolice officer suspects you are an illegal he can call the Border Patrol or ICE to check your info. They can check criminal history, entries into the country, removals and deprtations and run your Social Security Number to find out who it belings to.

Yes they can. also transporting any illegal alien in your car can have it confiscated and you can be charged with a felony. Or "by means of transportation"! And you are going across state lines. I know of confiscation on vehicles for transporting illegals just across town.

Encouraging and Harboring Illegal Aliens

Penalties upon conviction include criminal fines, imprisonment, and forfeiture of vehicles and real property used to commit the crime. Anyone employing or contracting with an illegal alien without verifying his or her work authorization status is guilty of a misdemeanor. Aliens and employers violating immigration laws are subject to arrest, detention, and seizure of their vehicles or property. In addition, individuals or entities who engage in racketeering enterprises that commit (or conspire to commit) immigration-related felonies are subject to private civil suits for treble damages and injunctive relief.

It is a violation of law for any person to conceal, harbor, or shield from detection in any place, including any building or means of transportation, any alien who is in the United States in violation of law. HARBORING MEANS ANY CONDUCT THAT TENDS TO SUBSTANTIALLY FACILITATE AN ALIEN TO REMAIN IN THE U.S. ILLEGALLY. The sheltering need not be clandestine, and harboring covers aliens arrested outdoors, as well as in a building. This provision includes harboring an alien who entered the U.S. legally but has since lost his legal status.

Yes, they can. I hope your friends get caught and deported.

Most states prohibit the police from detaining someone for the sole purpose of checking immigration status, but if they are stopped and questioned for a different offense, immigration status is a check they can do. That is why the Arizona law is controversial, allows the police to stop someone suspected of being an illegal.
