There are hundreds of thousands of people, from around the world, waiting patiently come here to America legally.

Legal immigrants have to be vetted by our consulates in their homelands, to make sure they are both morally and physically sound before coming here.

There is no such vetting process for the illegals. They come here with disease, mental conditions and criminal records. I mean, just their being illegal shows that they wouldn't have met the requirements for coming here legally, which goes to their undesirability.

Each illegal allowed to stay means some other potential legal immigrant from somewhere else in the world will be denied, or delayed, his chance at the American Dream.

Why should illegals be allowed to jump the immigration queue?

you know, your argument would sound almost coherrent, if you hadn't included the comment calling these folks vermin. I guess you can take the boy out of South Africa, but ....

as for TCL's comment "That's because they have an interest group that buys democratic candidates." So, who are you talking about? Reagan, Bush or McCain?

edit: most folks here wouldn't care to repeat South Africa's "good old days." nor did we encourage you to bring them with you.

Illegal immigrants shouldn't be allowed to jump the queue. At the same time illegal immigrants who have established families in America should not be deported. Its our responsibility to close the border and prevent unwanted immigration.

Also there is no reason to call every illegal immigrant vermin. They just as much human as me and you and are just as flawed. Many of them kids who don't have choice but to follow their parents. Some are the nicest people you will ever meet, others are criminals.

For the first time in over a decade, the State Department has released basic information on the number of people on the waiting list for family-based immigrants, reporting that more than 2.7 million people are awaiting interviews overseas for their immigrant visa. In addition, there are another 2.2 million people are waiting in the United States for USCIS to process their family visa application. With visa demand from eligible people now more than 20 times what our law allows in annual issuances, it seems past time to eliminate some of the categories – the current system is unfair to applicants and their sponsors, encourages illegal immigration, and wastes government resources.

The State Department’s 2.7 million applicants are waiting to be processed at a consulate overseas in one of the family visa categories, where annual issuances are limited by law to about 226,000. This waiting list does not include those who have applied in the unlimited categories for spouses, children, and parents of U.S. citizens, who in recent years have numbered about 500,000 per year; nor does it include employment, humanitarian and lottery winners.

i do no longer comprehend why it desires to be mentioned so in many cases yet i visit declare it returned. The boat everybody isn't entering Australia illegally. they have each precise below international agreements signed by potential of Australia, to seek for risk-free haven in any usa they choose for. it relatively is totally criminal to get on a ship and are available to Australia and ask for asylum. below the agreements, Australia is had to envision out the refugees to be sure if their refugee status is actual. no rely if it relatively is, they are allowed to stay. If that is no longer, they may well be sent back to the place they got here from. There are unlawful immigrants in Australia. they arrive in by potential of the thousand in jet aeroplanes from Europe and the rustic with working trip visas or vacationer visas and don't bypass residing house. The numbers in touch very much surpass the few thousand who've struggled to get here by potential of boat in the final decade yet we never hear of those unlawful immigrants, merely the surely criminal ones who're vilified by potential of bigots.

That's because they have an interest group that buys democratic candidates. Just like the teachers' union. All you have to do to find out why liberals pass certain laws and push for others is to follow the money. The SEIU knows that most of them would become service workers, and thus they could organize them if they become legal and get dues money.

It is all a big corrupt racket if you ask me.

Because the US and Mexico have always had a secret agreement to keep that channel open. Look at the history of how effective every admin has been on closing the border.
