About Illiegal Aliens....?

We have heard a lot about this subject lately. Now here is my thoughts. I am upset that people are saying there are jobs Americans won't do. First of all, they are being hypacritical. They complain about unemployment in this country, and the very next week, they complain that we have all these jobs that Americans WONT DO. That is bull. Everyone starts somewhere. My husband worked for a landscaping company starting out. You can't expect to start out making 100,000 grand a year. (We all don't have trust funds sitting around waiting for us.) Next.... if anyone belived that these jobs were so awful that americans are "too good" to do this work, wouldn't you feel offended that they are saying that "we are too good for this job, so, you do it" I would be terribly offended if someone said all I was good for was picking lettuce or cleaning dishes. They was our polaticians are talking, I wouldn't want to take those jobs. I would say, follow the law and make a real name for yourself!

First of all, if these illegals wanted into our country the best way would be to enter legally under a visa and go through the process.



I agree that american jobs should be for americans first. Teh illegals get the jobs because they don't have to be paid the legal minimum wage, and they still get paid more than they would in their own country. They also come here to do other illegal things. 37% of the illegals that come through Arizona are not from central or south america. Many of that 37% come from arabic and persian nations.



Our country is a nation of immigrants. It would be against our founding principles to close our doors. But there is a legal process. They should follow it.

The real issue here is that the Latin minority is supposed to surpass the black minority within the next 25 yrs. and the D's and R's are fighting over them. It shouldn't be an issue. Illegal is illegal, and I agree that the employers are to blame, if they didn't hire illegals there would be no jobs for them and they wouldn't come over here. The farmers and meat processors claim that they can't operate without illegal labor because Americans don't apply for the jobs. The jobs Americans were working at went overseas. They say we are transitioning away from industry toward a service economy. So does that mean we are all supposed to serve the rich and affluent?



In my city, the Indians own all of the hotels, the Arabs own the gas stations, and most of our doctors are Indian, Arabian or Japanese. The steel plant went to Asia, Goodyear is struggling, all the Mexicans work at Tysons, we don't need any more lawyers, real estate or insurance agents, or used car salesmen. It seems like the only businesses that are growing are Walmart, the check advance businesses, pawn shops, fast food restaurants, bail bondsmen, and government.

If Congress were to pass a law that said, quite simply, that the CEO(ANY EMPLOYER) of any business that was caught employing ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS went to jail for a year - NO EXCEPTIONS - then within a month there would be ten million (more or less) people lined up at the Mexican border trying to get out of the United States Back To Whatever Country They Came From.

Congress and the Department of Justice are simply ignoring this outrage, yet Specter blathers on the stupid tube that these 15 million plus criminals should be given a free pass.

To the girl that said "all Americans are immigrants"...give it a rest! Did you hear that on TV and decide to use that as your blanket retort? EVERYONE on this planet is an immigrant. All of the people who are complaining about immigration reform are perfect examples of why it needs to be done! They can't understand simple English! No one is saying that all Hispanics need to be boxed up and sent back to Mexico. Enforcing LEGAL immigration is what's being proposed. Strengthen the borders so that it's less likely for someone to enter the country undetected, and require anyone who wants to reap the benefits of this country to do so as the law requires. Why is that so hard for these angry protesters to understand?

First of all, this subject INFURIATES me. I have absolutely no problem whatsoever having immigrants come over and make a better life for themself. IF IT IS DONE LEGALLY...THANK YOU. I know why ILLEGAL aliens are here. To seek a better life then they had in their own country. However the word ILLEGAL is what it says it is, they are breaking the law. I am all for people to come here legally and to better themselves and contribute to the country. I think the way to approach the problem is to arrest the employers who are actually taking advantage of these people and put them in jail and assess a huge fine so it is not worth it to hire them.
