It will just be a cost, it might make it easier to travel to some countries on a British passport.

That's pretty minor or negligible depending where you want to go holiday. Poland is in the EU, my daughter has a Polish passport not a British one.

The 'entitlement' to benefits or what ever are no different if you are a 'Brit'.

Whats wrong with Poland? or need I ask? You dont really need British Citizenship as you are in the EU. Did you know that the EU is deliberately exploiting your people and country. They have the chance to give you all the benefits you aspire to in the UK for Poland, a civil society, democracy, Jobs and industry, welfare but they would rather import you to a Nation not of your birth so they can pay you peanuts and keep Brits out of Jobs. You will never be British.

Go home and improve your own nation and tackle the ex-communists parasites in your government and forget about British Nationality its not that great from what you guys had under Communism anyway.

ILR purely frees you from immigration administration interior the united kingdom, outdoors the united kingdom you're nevertheless project to all the regulations member states of the ecu positioned on your nationality, or any u . s . for that rely. With a British passport you have freedom of flow in the process the ecu & can settle the place you like interior the ecu - with ILR in case you desperate you wanted to stay & artwork in France you initiate back on the backside, finding for a job, hoping you would be granted a visa. there is likewise the component citizenship does not expire, you may might desire to artwork very, very frustrating to be stripped of your citizenship yet ILR purely maintains to be valid jointly as you reside interior the united kingdom, in case you reside outdoors the united kingdom for 2 years or extra ILR will immediately expire. edit: I forgot to assert however, in the experience that your place u . s . does not enable twin citizenship & will strip you of your citizenship in case you naturalise as a British citizen which would be a great mark against it, somewhat in case you nevertheless have relatives on your place u . s . or plan to return there

You will not get any benefit because POLAND IS already in the EU so you are still in titled to any benefits you wish to claim already, all you need to do is apply for them, you do not need to change your nationality to claim benefits good luck.
