What Will Happen About Immigration Now.??? UK.?

Question

Now that the same old rubbish will be running the UK, all be it in a coalition. Or possibly a Lib Dem Conservative pact. Or whoever.

What do you think will happen about immigration. Will it be forgotten by them and back to the way it was before.????

Do we have to put up with yet thousands more coming over here and reaping off our system.?

Abusing our laws...... Living in peoples gardens...... Working illegally...... Building Mosques on every space available..... Waving placards on our streets threatening to kill us..... Threats from the muslims over powering the UK through population breeding.... Sharia law taking over Britain.

What do you think will happen now.? Do you think it will be swept under the table and forgotten..

Immigration will need to be tackled sooner rather than later. Our problem is that we are members of the EU and citizens of the EU have free movement within the EU i.e the DWP have stated that there are 500,000 pensioners from the UK resident in Spain. We also have UK citizens resident all over the world.

I agree our services in some areas are overstretched from large influxes off immigrants i.e schools, hospitals etc.

We need some sort of system, maybe something similar to that operated in Australia, it would also help if immigrants learned to speak the language of the country they want to stay in. I believe this would help integrate people in to the communities in which they live. It appears from what I've seen that towns almost become ghettos with no go areas and this does nothing to promote citizenship and embedding immigrant families in to those communities when they quite often ostrasize themselves.

We also need to stop showing the racist card when people express their views, we're all entitled to an opinion and showing the race card IMHO defiles and devalues true racism, which is horrid and despicable.

Immigrants runs our services into the ground . They take our jobs and homes . We should of closed our borders 20/30 years ago . As for mosques being pretty , what a load of twaddle . Some are already returning to their own countries like the Polish and for the first time ever more British are leaving the country than immigrants are coming in. Britain has always been multi cultural but since all Europeans have been able to travel freely throughout Europe ad settle in a chosen county it has paved the way for legal and illegal immigrants to come to the UK. The trouble is, it is seriously putting a strain on the health service and schools ,many needing translators . The only way is to make the UK less attractive and stop givig huge had out to those that have just go off the boat . I moved to Spain 5 years ago, but bought a house and started my own business and pay for health care.

well anyone who voted labour again is quite obviously appovingo of the immigration system since 1997, it was exposed recently that labour deliberately began social engineering the nation as a way of undermining conservative electorate, why do you think we get all this diversity and multiculturalism forced through our society. We must remove the dangerous left wing ideals from society, my area is okay for now but many parts of the nation now resemble a third world slum. For too many years the left suceeded in silencing immigration concerns with childish 'racist' cries. Multiculturalism is a cancer, and it must be stopped for the sake of this nation. I agree with 7th legion. Make Britain financially undesirable unless you have a good career to come into. And actually really like the place, rather than it being better than where you are.



And no immigration from outside the eu, unless it's in exceptional circumstances - e.g. a professional not available within the EU.



But hey. Don't forget. Mosques can be quite pretty. My face is in my palm.

I think they will talk the talk. But put in practice wont do a thing. To be honest i dont think its so much illegal immigrants coming in as it is droves of people from other EU countries. Countries like the US give citizenship to those that have earned it or as a reward for those that have the skills/trade and i think that should be so for this country even towards the EU member states.



Burning the human rights law would be a start. Allowing criminals to stay in this country even though they have killed and murdered because they may be persecuted for returning to their country is a piss take!

With lib dem forming a coalition government the immigration problem will be worse than it was under labour, Tory are cowards just as much as labour were when it came to immigration but lib dem are full on pro immigration fruitcakes. They would have us forced by law to give up room in our houses to illegals if they had their way. OK maybe a bit of a far fetched idea but its the same as using our tax money to house and feed so called asylum seekers and if lib dem get their way illegals. Were up to the kazoo in national debt, do lib dem not read the news? so how would giving amnesty to possibly 2 million illegals house them feed them give them living allowances the same as so-called asylum seekers get us out of a national situation?



So-called asylum seekers by pass safe countries just to get to Britain, lax asylum laws means 10 times the allotted amount, amnesty for illegals will mean millions more will flood in. How can they prove they've lived in Britain illegally for 10 years? If they're illegal nobody knows who or where they are.

it will be very difficult for anyone to do anything about immigration, as 80% of Britain's immigrants come from EU countries, and it is EU law that we HAVE to let them in.



If you really want to have an impact on immigration, we would have to leave the EU.



Also, everything lilybelle said is right. Its not the crime or 'sharia law' that is the problem, its just the fact that there are too many people physically living in this country.

Nothing is going to happen about immigration, the three parties agreed privately that immigration would not be an issue at the election. They all made statements about limiting immigration but there is nothing they can do about it for as long as we remain in the EU

1. Not all immigrants "abuse our laws", in fact very few do and if you are claiming the numbers are high I want to see some reputable statistics.

2. Those things you mean, living in people's gardens? They are gnomes/birds.

3. Working illegally - you fail to make the distinction between LEGAL and ILLEGAL immigrants

4. Building mosques - in this country, everyone has to right to free worship. They can build mosques if they choose, and mosques are often very pretty

You seem to forget about all the white, british people that cause problems too. There are more "chavs" (although I don't like to use this word as it generalises) sitting on the dole and causing trouble in the streets. Do you think this is because they are white, or for some other reason?
