PHOENIX (AP) — An Arizona sheriff has sworn in 56 members of a new volunteer sheriff's posse, including actor-bodybuilder Lou Ferrigno. The citizens' group will aid Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio's deputies in efforts to crack down on illegal immigration.Ferrigno, best known for his starring role in "The Incredible Hulk" television series, lives in California. He says the Arizona posse volunteers can help protect the country against drug and immigrant smugglers."I must warn you that we are in for a rude awakening, because this country right now is in a lot of danger," Ferrigno said at the ceremony Wednesday. The sheriff said action-film star Steven Seagal and actor Peter Lupus of TV's "Mission: Impossible" fame also are members of the posse group, though they weren't sworn in at the ceremony.

To be honest, whether Ferrigno is using this for publicity (as a previous poster stated) or not does not matter to me, I am just glad that finally for once someone with celebrity status is on the opposite side of the illegals and putting America and its Citizens first.

I get so tired of so many public figures using their fame to push an agenda that they personally don't have to deal with themselves like a majority of American citizens have to tolerate day to day such as stolen jobs, id theft, crime, gangs, taggers, deteriorating communities, school overcrowding and a failing education system.

These activists/entertainers that advocate for the illegals just happen to hear a news clip and hop on their private jet to Arizona to give their two cents to the citizens of America without even thinking that it would be better to just remain neutral on the subject because a majority of their fan base and earnings probably come from American Citizens. Except for the Latin crossover stars that got involved like Shakira and so on. Then these entertainers hop right back on their private jets and go back to their upper Manhattan party scene/lifestyle feeling pretty good about themselves and being the celebrity face for the cause of the moment.

I'm not certain on believing Arpiao using citizen volunteers for deputies, but heck.. whatever works is fine with me. I know our Federal Government has failed doing anything about it. I believe that before it is all over, Americans are going to have to put up a fight to regain this country back and from our own Federal Government. We have money bags and liberals like George Soros buying government control through all sorts of organizations. This is chipping away at our Constitution. There has to be a reason for the lack of enforcement on our Governments part and it isn't in the best interest of America.
