Help it a great deal and it will do that because it removes a huge criminal element from our society who do not give a hoot about our laws.

I would tell you to take a hike on the links... you should do your own homework. But this is critical to my side and I appose illegal aliens very seriously. The Feds do not include a Hispanic check box in their offender reports. And if the Hispanic is arrested and goes before a judge, and put on probation, his ethnicity is never entered... he is entered as a white offender.

At the state level they began entering that classification in the Offender reports, and suddenly we have a true idea what the statistic look like. California won't publish that information.. we are the public and would hollar. Go to Arizona which is the only state now, that apposes the circumstances as they were a mere two months ago. Texas also might give you good information.

=========================

Per the links up there. I have been in opposition to illegal aliens and open borders for years. I have been hacked on this board more frequently than any other place in the nation. The Mexican Nationalist have excellent Internet Tech people, and they create web sites galore.

This site is referenced to the Government pages they came from.. is not filled with personal opinion, and does a good job of explaining what the issues are.

http://one-simple-idea.com/BorderSecurity.htm

I will also tell you that the Federal Government wanted open borders a great deal, and in all these years, they STILL have not published the information they have on illegal aliens. The best, and the only information comes from the States that have looked at their figures and closed the states to illegal aliens.

Finally... after all the law suits, Arizona is expected to save over a billion dollars in money that is not paid to illegal aliens in welfare, and costs of education, courts, and accidents. It is a bonanza when they run the illegal aliens out. And even as I say that, the Federal Government owes money to Arizona for illegal alien incarcaration that goes back to 2003 and is in the billions.

Help!

It's just logic! You have to find the source that will show how in each segment of the economy! There is no 1 site fits all!

Unless your pro-criminal! But then every one of those sources are using sources AT LEAST 4 YEARS OLD! You would think that any studies done in the last 4 years might show something? Yes they do! That getting rid of illegal aliens will HELP the country!

You would free up lower paying jobs for teens and others who can not afford or are not capable of getting a college degree. And more kids could go to college with the criminals back in their home country!

You would collect over 5 times more in taxes! (The pro-criminal groupies claim that we should be thanking the criminals for paying 20% of the taxes that should be collected! DUH!)

Less money would be leaving the country.

Crime would go way down! The FBI states that over 99% of the illegal aliens commit their first felony within 30 days of their "immigration violation"! They can NOT work here legally so they turn to crime!

The cost to have these criminals here is enormous! Do you realize that Phoenix pays an estimated $250,000 to educate children in the country illegally (NOT US born children of illegal aliens)? And that the nut cases in Tuscon send buses to the border to pick up children who enter the US, every day, solely to get a free education on the taxpayers dollar?

Now put on your thinking cap and think! There are a lot more reasons! All you have to do is think!

you're following the perception that it's going to harm the financial equipment and reason an strengthen in crime fees. many human beings have not got faith that's the case. no less than, our new regulation will enable us to run an test to work out what is going to take place. provide us 5 years and then we are able to evaluate the outcomes with a similar state that welcomes all of the unlawful extraterrestrial beings that want to flow there. interior the interim, in case you do no longer stay in Arizona, stay out of our business enterprise

When ever you remove or scare people away from your economy, it's going to hurt, and that's fact. SB1070 sends the illegals to our jails and not to ICE for deportation, so that's another tax bill we'll have to pay.

+++++++++++++++

Estimates Indicate Costs Could Rise into the Hundreds of Millions of Dollars for Entire State

Washington D.C. - Today, Arizona Governor Jan Brewer may sign into law a bill that has the potential to sink her state much deeper into the red than it already is. Touting a $10 million investment into local law enforcement from discretionary federal stimulus money the state received from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, Governor Brewer is gambling with Arizona's economy. The costs associated with SB 1070 have not been quantified by the Arizona legislature but it is safe to assume that $10 million dollars is only a drop in the bucket towards what it would actually cost to enforce this law.

The fact sheet estimates the costs of a bill which would have authorized the police to arrest illegal immigrants on trespassing charges if they were simply present in the state (the bill was eventually vetoed by then Governor Janet Napolitano). The Yuma County Sherriff's fact sheet shows a staggering potential cost to Yuma County law-enforcement agencies. The Sherriff estimated:

■Law-enforcement agencies would spend between $775,880 and $1,163,820 in processing expenses;

■Jail costs would be between $21,195,600 and $96,086,720;

■Attorney and staff fees would be $810,067-$1,620,134;

■Additional detention facilities would have to be built at unknown costs.

That is just plain sad that you used 12 alias asking and answering. This shows us at what lengths illegals and their supporters go to to spew out their lies. How do you sleep.

Besides job creation, here are some additional benefits we will enjoy when the illegals are sent back to their countries of origin:

• Huge savings in the prison systems from not having to pay $49,000 per year to incarcerate each illegal alien criminal (it also frees up prison space to house other deserving convict citizens, and results in huge savings in the court system as well. Care to guess how much we pay for interpreters and legal defense for illegals in all of our courts?

• Less crime in Napa County, including violent crime (remember the heinous murder of the Veterans Home guard a few years back by the illegal alien that continued his violent crime spree into Oregon before finally getting caught?), fewer drunk drivers (illegals who “self medicate” with alcohol or drugs and then drive uninsured vehicles without a drivers’ license and crash all over the valley), less thefts from our homes, cars and businesses (including the continual theft of license plates with registration stickers)

• More charitable funding available for the benefit of legal U.S. citizens (just think what it would be like if none of the millions of dollars donated each year from the wine auction went to benefit illegals and went instead to U.S. citizens)

• Lower medical, dental and vision care costs (the health care system would be able to lower its prices overall due to not having to spread its losses from so many uninsured illegals abusing the system by gaining free care – wow, health care reform issue solved!)

• Better education system (huge money saved by not having to hire interpreters, conduct special classes, having everything written in two languages; all this money instead could go to educating U .S. kids)

• Returning to English as our society’s language (imagine all the money saved by government and business if they don’t have to print, say and do everything in English and Spanish — our cost of government and products would go down!).

Arizona’s Vicious New Anti-Immigrant Law Isn’t Just Racist; It’s Unconstitutional and Counterproductive

Ironically, expelling unauthorized immigrants from Arizona would be costly. The Perryman Group calculated that Arizona would lose $26.4 billion in economic activity, $11.7 billion in gross state product, and approximately 140,324 jobs if all undocumented people were removed from the state.

It will help. The businesses that hire illegals will have to comply with the law & hire legal workers, pay competitively. Americans out of work will have the opportunity of finding a job.

It is already hurting Arizona. It's will definetly hurt the US economy if others follow.

This pretty much sums it up:

Why SB 1070 is bad for Arizona

"The Latino community is a hard working, God-fearing, family values group of people. Without them, Arizona will suffer greatly. Right now, the Arizona economy is practically at its breaking point. With SB 1070 and the criminalization of the immigrant class, I fear it is going to get much worse."

it would help the economy by opening job positions in the low wage earner sector....our high school grads have no jobs to apply to .... a majority of our fast food joints have latino crews... low start businesses like lanscaping and mowing lawns are held by illegals.....jobs like child care and home cleaning are held by illegals....illegals undercut construction site jobs by working for half the wage.......the list goes on to include hotel, restaurant, food industry, meat processing industry, clean up jobs etc

not to mention the savings in the costs of incarcerating criminals and the AMERICAN LIVES taken by illegals that would be spared...

other states considering adapting similiar laws like that of AZ are protecting the interests of their communities......that is what it is all about

people say that only the illegals who commit a crime should be deported----well, news flash---illegal entry into the US IS A CRIME....A FEDERAL CRIME...
2010-06-11 07:07:40 UTC
It will not only hurt the entire US economy, it'll cause a rise in crime. Laws like SB1070 will scare people from reporting crime they witness or crime they are victims of. Criminals will now focus on Hispanics that seem to be illegally here because they know they won't report.

http://www.manuelsolis.com/?p=107

SB-1070 will hurt Arizona’s economy and increase violent crimes

In Maricopa County, where Sheriff Joe Arpaio is willing to crack down on undocumented immigrants, people lock up themselves in their houses to avoid arrest; but after dozens of raids the county has just a couple cases where they were able to prosecute. Usually the employer decided to go out of business after the raid or get two days suspension.

Here's my link to prove it: http://www.immigrationpolicy.org/newsroom/release/how-much-will-arizonas-immigration-bill-sb1070-cost

How Much Will Arizona's Immigration Bill (SB1070) Cost?

Washington, D.C.- Frustrated by Congress' failure to pass comprehensive immigration reform, states across the country continue considering legislation that relies heavily on punitive, enforcement-only measures which not only fail to end unauthorized immigration but also have the potential to dig their state's finances deeper into a hole.

The latest example of this kind of policy nose dive is in Arizona. A recent bill, "Support Our Law Enforcement and Safe Neighborhoods Act" (SB 1070), was passed by the Arizona State legislature and awaits the signature of Arizona Governor Jan Brewer. As the Governor ponders whether or not to put her signature on SB 1070, she should consider the potential economic impact of the bill, which would require police to check a person's immigration status if they suspect that person is in the United States illegally. This bill, if it becomes law, will likely affect not only unauthorized immigrants, but all immigrants and Latinos in general. Given the vital role that immigrants and Latinos play in Arizona's economy, and considering Arizona's current budget deficit of $3 billion dollars, enacting SB 1070 could be a perilous move.

It's already hurting the AZ economy and it hasn't even been enforced yet. so it's fair to say it'll HURT.

Arizona’s economy shattered by S.B. 1070 as workers disappear

CNN is reporting, as seen in the video above, that the Arizona racial profiling law, SB 1070, has backfired. Businesses are suffering and cannot find workers. Losses are estimated to be in the millions!

Even the Republican State Senator who wrote the law, Russell Pearce, admits he wants guest workers – but only if they come here alone, then pay their taxes, then go home. In essence, he wants slaves.

The boycott is also having a major effect. Mexicans are not coming to Arizona to spend money, at all. They are going to other neighboring states.

Many cities are also boycotting Arizona, including Austin, Los Angeles and Santa Ana.

And a group called The Sound Strike led by Los Angeles rockers Rage Against The Machine and featuring Cypress Hill, Massive Attack and System Of A Down’s Serj Tankian, are boycotting performing shows until law SB 1070 is amended. Popular rapper Kanye West is also boycotting Arizona and the band Los Lobos just canceled a concert in Stockdale.

And the Wall Street Journal is reporting that the GOP’s embrace of racism is driving Latinos out of the Republican Party:

It is ridiculous to think that it would hurt our economy. Illegal immigrants are coming to America at alarming rates, it is believed 50 percent of the American population will be hispanic by 1950 and all these people don't pay taxes, don't speak english and have no money. Don't get me wrong, my fiancees dad is from Mexico but he actually respects the country enough to learn our language and became a LEGAL U.S. citizen. It is just the vast majority of illegal immigrants have no business being here if they can't positively influence our economy. Also, in the end it is ILLEGAL!!!!! not LEGAL immigration it is still breaking the law. Just because people don't like the law doesn't mean it wasn't put in place for a reason. It is to help over population, starvation, a damaged economy, and eventually the downfall of the American dollar. We don't ask why murder is illegal, we don't ask why drugs are illegal, we don't ask why driving under the influence is illegal, so why are we asking should be illegal?
