Join us as we march with our Phoenix allies in this massive march against hate!
On November 24, 2009, Arizona Governor Jan Brewer signed into law HB 2008, a draconian piece of legislation that will ultimately affect the health and well-being of U.S. citizen children who qualify for vital services. It is extremely important that our community be informed about this dangerous legislation, as well as aware of the irresponsible decisions made by our current governor.

Derechos Humanos has put together information about HB 2008 that is available below in pdf format. It includes a basic informational flyer, cards to carry in your pocket, as well as Accompaniment and Withdrawal forms. The information is all in Spanish.

The Accompaniment Form is strongly encouraged, as all parents should be empowered to provide the best for their children regardless of their documentation. The Withdrawal form has been provided for families who simply want to cancel or discontinue any services or benefits that they may be receiving from DES.

Feel free to print and distribute to people who may be affected by HB 2008. Also, let your friends and family know about how this law is terrorizing communities and threatening the health and well-being of children.

Many consider AZ a backward state. Seems we are one of the few who are getting it right about illegal immigration.

No one in their right mind would create an adverse atmosphere for people they desired to keep; people who were a benefit, financially, culturally, intellectually.

SO!! if illegals are such a benefit financially and are NOT getting benefits why would a state work so hard at getting rid of them???!!!!

IF illegals are capable of generating such a large amount of income why don't they stay in their country and do it?? Because they aren't!!! They need & want the free labor/delivery and welfare they get.

HB 2008 is a GOOD thing.

See http://news.newamericamedia.org/news/view_article.html?article_id=0b54cfcfc7f95adfe97e2e7d2668a037

In part:

HB 2008 requires state, cities and any government employee in Arizona to report to immigration authorities any undocumented immigrants who request a public benefit. Government workers could face up to four months in jail if they fail to make a report. The law also gives taxpayers the right to sue a state or city agency if they believe the law is not enforced properly.

The new regulations were included as part of the budget negotiations during a special session in the state.

Don't see the problem with this. Why are illegal immigrant entitled to any benefits?

I found a less bias site. http://azahcccs.gov/shared/Downloads/News/HB2008_AHCCCSemployeeNotification.pdf

"The information is all in Spanish." - How am I supposed to know what is going on? or is that the point?

"is dedicated to the conquest of Aztlan." - A mythological place though to be in central mexico. Why would they care about the USA?

What do you expect from a bunch of criminal morons?

Just look at the signs they are putting up!

We keep telling them that entering the US without inspection comes under a federal CRIMINAL statute making them criminals (that covers the majority of them) but they keep putting up signs saying they are not! For the ones who entered with a visa. Entering on a temporary visa with the intention of staying is a felony (AKA crime) it's called visa fraud!

Between the two that should cover 99.999999999999999999999999% of them!

And yes there may be some hate involved like when they kill children (2 neighborhood children killed by Mexican nationals in the US illegally), Serial child molestation, stealing, raping, etc. etc.

I'm sure they wouldn't be in love with a group of people who killed their children, molested their children, stole from them, raped their women, etc. etc. Why do they think we are suppose to like them?

We just want to be rid of them and their criminal ways!

You obviously didn't even read the entire article. Where does it state that "derechos humanos" has any direct ties to the MEX government? LMFAO!!!! and the "conquest of Aztlan" just makes you look like a silly Conservative injecting lies and propaganda.
