There is no way they are law abiding, and they have no respect for laws. Notice they do not point out each crime committed by them.

I agree, if you enter any country illegally or entered legally and overstayed your visa (by the way, why does the US give anyone a 6 month "tourist" visa?), you cannot bee a law-abiding person.

In Germany, you cannot even register a child in elementary school or daycare if you do not prove that the child is a legal resident of the country. Period. Many other countries are like that. Why do we even have laws if they are not going to be respected?

Watch out, now comes Obama with his amnesty to get more votes for himself and continue sinking the country.

Fun fact: Over half the people here illegally came legally, but overstayed their visas.

Actually that was the case back in the 90's. Today it is closer to 45%.

Fun fact: It is estimated that over 90% of visa overstayers are not technically overstayers as they lied in order to get that visa making them visa frauds not visa overstayers. Coming here for a two week vacation and getting a job and apartment and THEN saying you decided to stay is cr@p! They knew before they came that they were going to stay!

And yet, no one prosecutes the employers who hire people with falsified documents (it's easy to tell); it's a federal crime. (U.S. Code Title 8 ยง 1324a.) Unlawful employment of aliensPenalties upon conviction include criminal fines, imprisonment, and forfeiture of vehicles and real property used to commit the crime.

And yet, no one points out that it is impossible for them to get driver's licenses or insurance.

As a legal immigrant I often resent illegals because they complicate the process for all immigrants and aggravate prejudice and bigotry among natural-born citizens. In their defense, many other nations, including most of America's allies, treat illegal immigrants far more humanely than does the U.S. There are too many instances of families broken up by the INS, children held for outrageously long periods in INS detention facilities without representation and more. The U.S. ought to both enforce its immigration laws and treat all illegals humanely, respecting their human rights and the sanctity of marriages and families.

By definition, they are NOT law-abiding citizens. If they were, they'd be going through the proper immigration channels.

But I'm curious if those same people know that fully one-fifth of our prison population is now made up of illegals, and they are not there for crossing the border. They are there for additional crimes such as murder, rape (including children) and drugs.

Very easy, most of them, the only wrong thing they have done is enter the USA without following the proper channels. That doesn't mean they are the terrible criminals you say they are

You put them at the level of Charles Manson, Timothy McVeigh, or Ted Bundy but everybody knows that doesn't fit

Their very presence is illegal so anyone that says they are law abiding have their sense of morality screwed up.
