Hi, I'm graduating this year from HS ... my friend and I are planning to get a working visa and stay in Australia for almost a year just to experience something new and fly back home to settle down.

The problem is that I don't turn 18 til September, and to get a cheap flight we have to book our flights in June...
What are the chances of getting rejected a working visa?

All our family are in Canada, we both have no criminal offenses and we have that five grand required.

thanks :D

It's never really a good idea to make travel arrangements before you have a visa, but in this case, the risk of coming unstuck is minimal. Australia has no quotas on Working Holiday visas for Canadians and provided you've turned 18, have a clean record and meet the financial requirements, the chance of being rejected for a visa is minuscule - less than .01%.

you will not get an Australian working holiday visa until you turn 18 , but that being said when you turn 18 you should have no trouble getting a visa
